The Godshield surrounds the Scoured Stars, protecting it from the dangers of the Vast beyond. At the very edge of this celestial barrier, dangers have attempted many times to break the seal, but only cause damage to their side of the system. After the tragic Scoured Stars Incident, remnants of the Vast's broken fragments made their way into the once protected realm. These fragments have hardened into a galactic mass, filled with tiny stars that give them a mystical appearance.

These masses landed on planets at random and many have tried to round up seven random shapes and use them for playing dice roller games.
